One Chance showcases

the talent of five young teenage singers from around the country. It follows the process of each artist’s journey of finding their purpose and goal for their musical dreams. Along the way, the young girls share their intimate stories with the audience and the emotional strings that drive their musical ambition. The singers are pushed in their work ethic, their drive and their willingness to do whatever it takes to make this one chance a meaningful opportunity. 5 girls. 5 stories. The Filmmaker

Alcee H. Walker

Biography

Alcee H. Walker is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York, where he earned an MFA degree in Social Documentary followed by an MPS Degree in Directing. His film work has been shown across the country including the Directors Guild of America where he won his first film award, the Outstanding Directorial Achievement, for his documentary film, Pain of Love. Just a year later Walker again won the 2015 Jury Award from the DGA for his film, Inferno.

 

Walker completed his sophomore film, Child Support; a story that forces his audience to see the detrimental effects of bullying and inspires the youth to speak up against it. Using this film as an educational tool, Walker takes Child Support to several schools across the nation as an anti-bullying campaign to push schools, communities, and students to speak up against bullying.
